Room

I usually don't sketch things that I just clearly right in front of  me. Why? Because I really, REALLY suck at that. I always end up drawing objects not quite how they look. I tend to lie in my drawings. A lot. Here, for example, I lied about all the paper rolls under the bookshelf. I am not that rich. And the walls in my room aren't really that slanted to make the bookshelf stand in such a terrible perspective.
Maybe if I practiced more I'd be better. I certainly would. There are so many things I could say about this particular sketch that irritate me so much, but why put down your own work when you have other people to do it for you? I'll let it slide this time. But next time I'll be much more critical of my own work.  I promise. To myself.
